Climate Change Mitigation through Renewable Source of generation will be way forward for developing countries like PNG to address climate change.
For instance Solar Power, hydro and wind turbines contemplates the production of clean power that will help contribute to reduce dependence on diesel generators, consequently reduce greenhouse gases emission specifically CO1, which would have occurred otherwise in the absence of this project.
Moving forward we should consider utilizing renewable sources of generation such as sun, wind and run off water and do away with heavy desiel generators that are in use by PNG Power including other business houses and factories, if we are to help contribute towards addressing the climate change.
