Dear friends of West Papua,

 

West Papuans continue to risk their lives to be heard by the outside world. Accessible ebooks like Vanishing Tribes: Unheard Voices from West Papua can help carry their message to a vast new audience.

 

Many thanks to those of you who helped generate the initial buzz! We saw many postings and tweets, and early readership was promising and surprisingly widespread. But the numbers have now dropped. For this project to succeed, we need to reach beyond just readers already interested in West Papua. We need to pull in the 'uninterested' and help them understand why West Papua is so important to all of humanity.

 

You can help us pull these readers in with ebook ratings and reviews. All it takes is one click to rate an ebook, and one sentence to write a review. All it takes is one good review to bring in many new readers!

 

You need not download the ebook to rate or review it – you only need to have an account with Apple iBooks (iTunes Store), Amazon (Kindle), Kobo, or Google. Please log in to any or all of these four sites to rate and review Vanishing Tribes. (All versions contain the same content and all except Amazon are free.) Note that reviews will identify your Username.

 

You could also write a review anywhere online about the web version, but vanishingtribes.net won't draw new readers like a popular ebook with the big distributors.

 

We also need a celebrity (or two) willing to endorse Vanishing Tribes and make it popular enough to achieve critical mass. If you know a pop culture icon who may be interested, please recommend our story to them.
